Licensed Social Worker
Trauma & PTSD
Life transitions
LGBTQIA+
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the stress that comes with big life transitions. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and whether therapy is familiar territory or completely new to you, we'll move at a pace that feels right.
Trauma work is at the center of what I do. I'm EMDR trained, a trained Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate, and a Level One Trauma-Conscious Practitioner, which is a long way of saying I've spent my career learning how to support people through the hardest things they've lived through, carefully and without rushing.
Before social work, I studied Women's & Gender Studies, and that lens still shapes how I practice. I pay attention to how identity, power, and lived experience show up in the room, and completed my Doctorate of Social Work because I believe the people I work with deserve a therapist who never stops learning.
My work is trauma-informed from the ground up. That means we go at your pace, you stay in control of what we explore and when, and nothing about your story gets treated as too much. For clients working through trauma, I offer EMDR, a structured, well-researched way of helping the brain process experiences that feel stuck.
Therapy with me is collaborative and affirming. I bring the training; you bring the expertise on your own life. Together we build the kind of steadiness that holds up outside the session, not just inside it.
