Family Conflict
Life transitions
I partner with adults and couples navigating life's complexities. For some people that means anxiety that never quite powers down or depression that makes everything feel heavier than it should. For others it's relationship dynamics, career stress, academic pressure, family conflict, or the particular chaos of dating. Most of the time it's some combination, because life rarely hands us one thing at a time.
I work with individuals 18 and up, and couples at any stage, whether you've been together six months or twenty years. You don't need a crisis to start, just a readiness to gain clarity and find a new path forward. This is a space where you can bring your full self, the polished parts and the messy ones, without fear of judgment.
My goal is simple: to help you move past feeling stuck. Stuck in the same argument, the same habits, the same Sunday night dread. Together we'll work toward a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling, and you'll leave sessions with something to actually do about it.
My approach is active and practical. I believe you already have the strength to change; my job is to bring the tools. I blend evidence-based styles, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused techniques, to help you spot patterns, shift perspective, and take real, actionable steps.
Whether we're untangling family dynamics or finding acceptance in a difficult moment, the focus stays on what works for your unique situation. We'll look for solutions that line up with your values, not just talk in circles.
Saul earned his Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. He is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused techniques, and he sees individuals and couples virtually across the state.
I'm a highly ritualistic person. Mornings start with feeding my cat, David Rose, then coffee and the news. Plant watering joins the lineup in summer.
What’s a small daily ritual that grounds you?
One Piece, the Japanese anime and manga. One of the greatest works of fiction ever made. Someday it'll be studied the way we study the Odyssey.
What book or show has inspired you recently?
Data and analytics. It activates a whole different part of my brain.
If you weren't a therapist, what would you be doing?
Black coffee. I'm super boring about it.
What's your go-to coffee or tea order?
A café I haven't tried yet, especially one with atmosphere.
Where's your happy place?
I lived in the Dominican Republic for 12 years. Most people are surprised because I have little to no Spanish accent.
What's one fun fact most people don't know about you?
