IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL · NY + NJ

However you love, you're welcome here.

I founded Rubin Therapy with a simple goal: high-caliber therapy that feels human and is actually accessible. I spent my early career in non-profit community clinics across New York City, honing my craft. I opened my private practice in 2018, and in 2021 it grew into the group practice you're looking at right now.

My expertise is in working with individuals exploring dating, relationships, sexuality, family dynamics, and life goals, often while managing depression, anxiety, or ADHD. I also work with couples, monogamous and non-monogamous, on communication styles, family and future planning, and ethical non-monogamy.

I completed a two-year postgraduate program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy with a specialization in family and couples treatment. Relationships sit at the center of my work because they sit at the center of most of our lives.

How I work

My training is contemporary and relational, with a specialization in family and couples treatment. Whatever you bring in, we look at it in context: your relationships, your history, your goals, and the patterns running underneath all three.

Sessions with me are collaborative and direct. We'll name what's actually happening, get curious about where it comes from, and build toward the relationships and life you're trying to create.
